On this page you will get an:

- overview of our approach to the evaluation training courses
- understanding of the principles underpin all client interactions
The 5 step process is a thorough conscientious process that works for the benefit of all individuals and organisations, regardless of industry sector or size. It ensures that learning is transferred to the work place and brings bottom line benefits to all concerned.
Step OneStep TwoStep ThreeStep FourStep Five
Step 1 – Potential client briefing
To commence proceedings we will meet with you in order to get to know each other and to discuss the issue(s) causing concern. This is a no cost, no obligation meeting designed to see if there is a fit between our organisations. If both parties decide to move things forward, we will take a clear brief from you and clarify exactly what is to be achieved as a result of any training solution we provide, and how this can be best accomplished. (It is at this point that we can also assist in the completion of a Training Needs Analysis if required) Within one week of this meeting if required, Callowbrook Training Associates will provide you with a written proposal; this will include training objectives, content, duration, methods, course administration, evaluation plan and cost allowing you to make an informed decision.
Step 2 – Company familiarisation
When providing tailored or bespoke training, we will spend up to half a day within your organisation understanding what it does and allowing us to gain an understanding of the culture, philosophy and objectives of the individual, department or organisation with which we shall be working.
This familiarisation will also allow us to gain information and materials that can be used for role-plays exercises and case studies.
At this stage we will also discuss with you the success criteria against which you will evaluate the performance of Callowbrook Training Associates and against which an evaluation strategy will be designed.
Step 3 – Programme Development
Where a tailored or bespoke solution is required, this will be based on agreed success criteria and objectives. We will design a training solution that will: Provide content that relates directly to the need of the individual, team or organisation. Help the organisation, team or individual move towards their desired aims and objectives. Reflect the latest leading edge thinking. Be highly participative, pragmatic, enjoyable and rewarding. Once the programme is developed we will take care of all administration on your behalf including writing and sending welcome letters and Joining Instructions.
Step 4 – Programme Delivery
The learning programme will be delivered using the latest accelerated learning techniques taking into account the learning styles of participants and using a variety of media in order to meet learning needs. Learning modules are a tailored made mix of presentations and participation, with a special emphasis on case studies, interaction and action planning in order to implement learning. We do not believe in death by PowerPoint or chalk and talk. Appropriate delegate aftercare will be provided to ensure transfer of learning to the delegates work environment.
Step 5 – Validation and evaluation the training solution
The reinforcement of newly explored and learned concepts is important to the success of any training solution. To ensure that learning has been acquired and transferred Callowbrook Training Associates believe in working with the client organisation to develop and implement an evaluation strategy.
Evaluation Strategy
Depending on the type of training service chosen, an evaluation strategy would consist of one or more of the following evaluation packages.
Level 1 EvaluationLevel 2 EvaluationLevel 3 Evaluation
Level 1 Evaluation
The objective of this level of evaluation is twofold, to measure the reaction of delegates to the training solution itself and to measure their increase in knowledge as a result of the course.
This is achieved with the use of pre and post course assessment tools and end of course evaluation forms, copies of which are supplied to the client organisation.
Level 2 Evaluation
The objective of this level of evaluation is to measure the extent to which any new learning has been applied on the job, in other words has the training been implemented, leading to a change in behaviour.
This is achieved with the use of action plans that are completed by the delegate at the time of training and forwarded to their line manager, who will carry out a review session usually four weeks after the training has finished. We will then discuss the results of this review with the candidates line manager via telephone.
Level 3 Evaluation
The objective of this level of evaluation is to measure the sustainability of the change in behaviour and the resultant effect on the business or the environment, where possible this will be assessed in terms of both qualitative and quantitative measures.
This is achieved by way of a critical evaluation of the training solution three months after the event in order to determine the effectiveness to the individual or organisation in terms of both relevance and cost, this will involve line managers and delegates completing an evaluation form, which will be discussed face to face with the programme sponsor.
