Mike is a professionally qualified and experienced Management, Leadership and Soft Skills Trainer, with extensive experience in all stages of the training cycle: identification of learning needs, design of training and preparation of supporting materials, delivery of training and evaluation of training programmes, gained in modern and testing corporate environments both overseas and in the United Kingdom.

Mike first became involved in training in 1989 and loved it so much, he has been doing it ever since and has been the proud owner of Callowbrook Training Associates since establishing it in 1998. Mike established Callowbrook with the sole intention of providing flexible, cost effective training that helps organisations to enhance the natural ability of their employees and so maximise their performance, this in turn benefits both the individuals themselves and the organisations they work for.

A former President of the Midlands region of the Professional Speaking Association, Mike regularly speaks and runs workshops both internationally and in the UK for organisations as diverse as Wessex Water, FlowGas, Templine Recruitment, TMS Group and Top Golf international as well as many departments across the Civil Service in particular The Foriegn & Commonwealth Office and the Dept for International Development, for whom In the last twelve months Mike has run workshops in Russia, Uganda, Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Cyprus to name but a few.

As an RAF Regiment Officer in the Reserve Forces, Mike has also completed operational tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. In 2011 he was the first reservist to be awarded the RAF Regiment NCO Leadership award. When he is not training, speaking or on operations with the RAF, Mike enjoys spending time with his family; wife Wendy and two children, and is an avid Fan of Aston Villa.He also spends a lot of time completing challenges such as ultra marathons whilst carrying significant weights that raise money for forces related charities.
